    Hello All,

    Thank you for your patience all this while.
    This issue is now fixed in the latest update (Id 14.0.1) of InDesign CC.
    If you are unable to see the update notification yet, open the menu (three dots) from the top-right of Creative Cloud desktop application and click on ‘Check For App Updates’.

    Once the update button is shown against InDesign CC, click on the button to update your InDesign to Id 14.0.1 for the fix of the issue.
    Do let us know in the comments, if you face any problem with the new update.

    Until now it seems stable! Double preferences don't mix wel!

    Why is this bug still properly not fixed on 10--31-2018?

    I have made another check/try out... 'never know how a cow catches a hare'... (Double Dutch)
    Because it frustrates works progress!

    Removed the file: "InDesign SavedData" from:

    /Library/caches/Adobe InDesign/Version 13.0/en_NL/InDesign SavedData

    The Version 13.0 file still there in the Library...

    See if it works... holds...?

    Well... I need the box to be free floating... not on top of my screen.
    I don't have my garage tools hanging on the ceiling, while working underneith my hobby car... :-)

    When shortening the bar on the right side, it gets totally blank!
    Okay... a new _bk!

    Haha! Stretching the bar in free float... errases per divide all information...

    Why hasn't this been thouroughly tested????

    Nope! It does not help to resave this personal preference!

    After a retry of...

    InDesign SavedData_bk

    It does not work anymore!? Erratic?

    Then... one can save a personal preference of ordening the tools on one's screen.
    Workspace...

    Changed to another standard setting, and the bar reappears.

    So I resaved my preferred setting of the panes... see if that works...

    And when working with this 'new' properties pane, I miss an important tool button!
    You forgot to implement... for sure!

    The button to narrow the textframe round type!!!!

    Same kind of icon as for illustration to narrow the frame around.

    Please, please, please... put me in a testgroup?... Maybe I can get a rebate on the hefty price tag of the Adobe software... and filter out the bugs... :-)

    It probably conflicts with the new 'properties' palette/pane added to the update.

    And even after a while... functions on de left side do disappear, even with switching to connect to top barr... back and fourth... Nope! 's-Not good at all!

    You have work to do! You lost a piece of code it seems!

    Moving the bar back to free floating... the width of the bar stay's fixed. Can't tune it anymore to desired width...

    After some work in process, the bar starts to become blank in sections. Losing the funtction to center, close in illustrations... in just a blink... Strange! very silly indeed :-)

    Just updated! The bar went up in oblivian. Same problem.
    Certainly worldwide. Should not happen! :-(
    Corrupting my deadlines!!! Grrrrr.....

    The sugested fix works... but have to test if it lasts...
    Made some moves... stands for now on Mac
