   This issue was fixed in ID CC2019 version.

   Please update to the latest version of InDesign available via Creative Cloud application.

   Hello
   Same problem :
   In Design hangs indefinitely when I open the "Cross Reference" dialog box since I have imported a big excel table. Each time we have to wait 5 minutes for adding, editing and deleting cross references
   The document is approx. 200 A4 pages, and approx 170 cross references for now.

   PC Windows 7 Pro, 16 Go RAM, Intel(R), Xeon(R) CPU E3-1220 v5 3.00GHz, In Design CC2018

   Please solve this as soon as possible !!
