    Hello All,

    Thank you for your support all this while. The issue is now fixed in the latest update of InDesign.
    Please upgrade to the new InDesign 14.0 from your Creative Cloud Application.

    If you are unable to see the update yet, click on the menu (three dots) on the top right corner of Creative cloud app and click on “Check for App Updates”.

    I installed the latest InDesign CC update yesterday. Since then, whenever I mark text I want to replace and enter new text, the first character of the new text is omitted. I have to remember to type the first character twice or to put in a space before entering the new text.

    To reproduce:
    Put some text in a text box.
    Mark a word or phrase you want to change.
    Type the change.

    Expected result: All of the characters in the change appear.
    Actual result: The first character of the change is omitted.

    It seems as if the first character registers only as a signal to delete the selected text.
