This would be even better if it also opened not just .indd files, but indb Book Panels as well.
I know InDesign can do this, as I was just synchronizing an .indb Book file/panel when InDesign crashed, and when I restarted it after the crash, all of my files, including my two .indb files, opened. Just need to offer this to users as an option. However, this recovery function only opened one window/tab for my files, and for two of the files I had them open in two tabs. Also the Book Panels were not in the side column where they had been but in the middle of the screen.Keith Conover, M.D., FACEP shared this idea ·

Just ran into a situation where I wanted a heading to have a character style that's picked up by a header and highlight it in yellow and found out it can't be both. Sigh. Agree this would be a great improvement.
Also, if you have a file open in two windows or two tabs in the same window, but with different portions of the files showing in the two windows or tabs, those should be restored as well.
