Issue has been fixed in InDesign’s latest update, Id 13.1.
Please update your InDesign for the resolution of the problem.
I've run into this same issue. Looking at some of Apple's documentation it appears this issue might be related to changing to APFS and this command in the code "Calling readdir(2) on a directory in APFS returns filenames in hash order, whereas HFS+ returns filenames in lexicographical order." Is everyone here on hard drives that were converted to APFS? Just a theory, but the more data we give Adobe, the hopefully the more likely they fix the issue. (I'm still on CC 2015, and occasionally CS6 for old files).Anonymous supported this idea ·
