    I also support this request. It would be very useful to use Data Merge directly with Excel files, without having to convert them to CSV or TXT every time. This would simplify the workflow, reduce the number of files to manage, and help avoid errors during conversion. It would be a very practical improvement for anyone who uses this feature regularly.
    I have to admit that seeing this request sitting in the backlog for 9 years does not give me much confidence, but I still really hope it will be implemented.
