Fix for this issue is available in the latest InDesign 2026 release (21.2.0.30) and InDesign 2025 LTS release (20.5.2.078), please update to this release from CCD app.

I must report two critical issues we are experiencing with Adobe InDesign:
Undo (Ctrl+Z) is extremely limited, working only for about three actions before becoming unavailable.
Text randomly disappears after mouse clicks, without any clear or reproducible user action that should cause it.
Both issues started immediately after installing the latest version of InDesign.
Because of this, we uninstalled the updated version and reverted to InDesign 20.5.1, however the problems persist even on this version.
System information:
Operating System: Windows 11 Pro
RAM: 16 GB
Location: Italy
It is important to note that these issues affect the entire team, not just a single workstation or user, which strongly suggests a software-related problem rather than an isolated setup issue.
These bugs are significantly impacting our daily workflow and productivity.
We would appreciate guidance on how to resolve them or confirmation if these are known issues currently under investigation.
