Touch screen on Windows can be disabled by following the steps mentioned on this page by Microsoft:

An error occurred while saving the comment
This is still happening in the 2025 version! And the suggested solution of opening an existing inDesign document doesn't work either! It opens briefly and then defaults back to the home screen and the unresponsive interface.
PLEASE FIX THIS.
