    Can we get this functionality added please? It's been five years!

    This is important for accessibility workflows. For example, I have a document with over 700 links that need to be updated. I can create/update the links with a script, but I can't set the accessibility alt text. (The document text that the links are applied to are just numbers, like product IDs, so they definitely need alt text.)
