Please update to this latest InDesign version to get the fix.

InDesign 17.1When deleting text, other text which is not selected to be deleted, also vanishes. I am laying out a poetry book with linked text boxes and the translator has complainined that some of the text is missing. This bug is increasing my workload and making me look unprofessional. I've read other comments about vanishing text, but I can't see any which is specifically mine.

I did as instructed, to download and install a prerelease build from the Creative Cloud desktop app, go to Apps > Categories > Prerelease (in my case it said Beta).
I was unable to run it once it installed. The message I receive being:
'Your InDesign (Beta) build has expired' - so I still have the same problem.
. . .and of course I am paying monthly for something which isn't working correctly. If it was our car, I'd take it back to the garage and say "Fix it!" and stay until it was fixed!
