   Please let us know if the below-mentioned workaround works for you:

   - Try restarting your Windows machine.
   - Use the “Restart” option and NOT “Shutdown”.

   I just updated to InDesign 2022 and it happened to me. Blank (white) file icon thumbnails. Files work just fine. Hmm...
