    This feature is now available in the latest Prerelease Build of InDesign (20.4.0.25).

    If you are already part of InDesign's Prerelease program, you can download it from the CCD app from the Pre-release section. However, if you are not and would like to join and try out the latest Prerelease build, do the following:

    * Go to https://www.adobeprerelease.com/

    * Sign in with your Adobe ID (the Email ID associated with your Adobe account)

    * Select ‘Available Programs’

    * Find ‘InDesign Prerelease’ and click ‘Join’

    * Once you’ve joined, go to the Creative Cloud Desktop Application on your machine, click on 'Apps' in the section on the left

    * Select the 'Pre-release' tab – there you will find the InDesign (Prerelease) build

    * To check the Build number of the Prerelease build, hover the cursor over the name – you will see the Build number 'v20.4.0.25'

    * Select ‘Install’.

    Came here while searching for this feature as it sure would make my life a lot easier!

    For those curious about how to do this in the meantime; let's say you need to align a colored frame or photo to the bleed on a single page. This color/image will cover the entire left page in the spread.

    - make this object the width of the page + bleed
    - additionally make it the height of the page + bleed
    - now set the align tool to "Align to Page"
    - align the object to right edge & then to vertical center

    Alter this method depending on your particular case. For single page spreads with bleed, just make the object frame the height/width of the page + bleed and align page to vertical center/horizontal center accordingly.
