225 votesFix for this issue is available in the latest InDesign 2026 release (21.2.0.30) and InDesign 2025 LTS release (20.5.2.078), please update to this release from CCD app.

An error occurred while saving the comment An error occurred while saving the comment This is absolutely ridiculous – I know it can be hard to fix these things, but it impedes my workflow beyond reason. I pay far too much to have text disappear on me every other letter I type. I use an M1 Macbook Air. The only thing that gets it to go away is turning off "GPU Performance," but I really prefer animated zoom, not the old version, so I don't want to have to turn this off and on over and over again. Please fix this.

I'm not sure if others have had this issue, but when I downloaded the beta build it told me my beta was out of date and didn't open – willing to try anything at this point to solve this problem but I can't seem to get the beta working.
