To identify the cause of this issue, we started our investigation with the aim to resolve it. You might have also received an email from us seeking more details to help in our investigation.

We’ve concluded our investigation and came up with the following: Either the issue is fixed in the latest release of InDesign or the issue was intermittent at the time of its reporting and is not reproducible now.

We recommend you upgrade to the latest version of InDesign 2025(v20.1.0.071) as it is more robust and contains a lot of bug fixes.

We seek your support in our continual effort to improve InDesign.

I am also having the same issue. I have an interactive menu - once I hover over the button, the menu is displayed. On clicking each of the menu items, they should go to destination (Bookmarked pages). The menu worked perfectly in my document when it was only 12 pages and now it suddenly stopped. When hovering, the menu items are displayed, however on clicking, they do not go to destination. This is driving me mad.

I too have additional buttons, namely Next Page, Previous Page.

The only workaround I can think of is to add the go to destination in Acrobat but the document was set up with Master pages as it is now 70+ pages. This is very frustrating.
