An error occurred while saving the comment An error occurred while saving the comment Bert commentedI noticed this as well, When the tools are pinned to the left side, I am not able to pull the window up to make it not so long at the bottom.
When tools are pinned to the right side, i can open the windows if they are collapsed. but if you have another set of tools pinned to the first set of tools on the right side, the icons don't open when application frame is off, but works when application frame is on.

When opening a document I have to close the windows down so I can see the doc and the tool windows at the same time. I was previously using v16.0.2 and it doesn't have this problem. I have tried the previous commenter suggestion, about deleting the. Library Caches for Indesign and it did not work to fix the problem

An error occurred while saving the comment Bert commentedthis is the closet to the issue we have. We use Grep and Paragraph Styles a lot. It was working fine in CC 2017. since we updated to CC 2019, it is now terribly slow to edit copy. If I remove the Grep it works fine. But then all the Grep is gone and styling is gone. Breaking link to styles doesn't help, because the grep is still imbedded in the copy itself.

I just found that if right side is pinned with another tool set pinned to that. the 2nd set pinned shows the window, to the right of the 1st pinned set of tools.
If you pull out the 1st pinned tools to the left the windows for the 2nd pinned tools show. Then if you pull the 1st pinned tools, the 2nd pinned tools move so they go off the screen.
