   Hi,

   This issue has been fixed in our latest release. Please update your InDesign and follow the steps mentioned in below link, for fixing this issue.
   https://helpx.adobe.com/indesign/kb/file-search-does-not-work.html

   Above mentioned steps are required only once. So, that existing files are included inside search index.

   This issue is also in the Place file dialog box too. CC 2018 on Mac server file shares.
