    also having this problem ... appears to be a bug that Adobe have yet to fix! Presume that the grey background image you are putting the text on top has been created in Indesign ... the only work around I have found is to create the background image in Photoshop and then when you place the text on top in Indesign, it prints out fine or exports fine as a pdf. FYI this doesn't happen when you export as a high res jpeg image.

    Adobe tech support: kindly advise status of fix for this bug.
