We reproduced it in a completely new and unformatted document. The exact same workflow works correctly in InDesign 21.4, but fails in 21.5.1, so this appears to be a regression introduced with 21.5.x. We can confirm this issue. We reproduced it in a completely new and unformatted document.
The exact same workflow works correctly in InDesign 21.4, but fails in 21.5.1, so this appears to be a regression introduced with 21.5.x.
We can also reproduce the issue independently of our editorial system.
