    My results when I tried to reproduce the problem:

    InDesign 21.5.1 x64, Windows Home

    1. Open the document provided by Peter.
    2. In the Edit menu, "Undo" is greyed out.
    3. Delete two of the frames.
    4. Use Save As to save the document.
    5. The Edit menu shows "Undo Delete".
    6. Choose "Undo Delete" from the edit menu.
    InDesign quits with an unexpected error.

    2nd attempt:
    Repeated the steps above.
    Same result. InDesign quit with an unexpected error.

    InDesign 21.5.1 macOS Sequoia 15.7.7
    Same steps as above, same result: choose "Undo Delete" from the Edit menu and InDesign immediately quits with an unexpected error.
