    This just happened to me also. I opened a previously packaged file that had custom alt tags already put in for several images. I went to update an image, checked the alt tag, and realized that ALL images in the document which previously had custom alt text, were overwritten with AI generated alt tags that made absolutely no sense (these are specific product images that AI doesn't do well with). There was no notification, no crash, no document recovery or indication of an issue. I just happened to stumble across the incorrect AI alt tags. I could understand if it was generated for images that were missing alt text, but not overwriting my own custom alt tags. I had to turn this feature off and open the old file again to get the original alt tags back, and redo the work I had already done. Please fix this bug ASAP!
