The fix for this issue is available in the InDesign PreRelease build(v21.4.0.068) and above.
Please check if the issue is now resolved.
Download/Update the latest InDesign PreRelease build in Creative Cloud under the “Prerelease” category(Refer to “Prerelease_CreativeCloud.png” for reference)
Please apply to the InDesign PreRelease in case you don’t have access to the InDesign PreRelease build – https://www.adobeprerelease.com/beta/C6DFA254-C40C-4EEB-8F6D-F4AEDA2E6171

I am an Adobe InDesign trainer and my client uses the system font Calibri for their files. Every time they open some files, the fonts are missing, but in older files they are not. The fonts are definitely installed. I had the same problem for a while. I've had 2 tickets open with Adobe and nobody can resolve it. The last Adobe rep informed me it was due to the Windows Security update from November 2025 (2025-11 KB506 8861), he asked me to uninstall it from my machine, after I did the problem went away. But I cannot expect the client team to do this as a solution. Windows security updates are essential and their IT team won't allow it. Please give us an ETA as to when this issue will be resolved! Thanks!
