This problem does indeed appear to have been resolved in this Prerelease. The machine it was tested on has been fully updated with all currently available Windows 11 updates. Tests were run on several different files; all successful. I was experiencing this problem only with Times New Roman so I cannot comment on any other fonts.

Thank you very much for getting this resolved; it has been an extremely frustrating 5 months. I hope everyone else has the same success and look forward to the fix being released for general use.

I also have this same problem but cannot go back and uninstall the original problem security update. Is there a solution to this problem yet? Do I have to reinstall the OS and everything else to get back to the point where I can choose not to install the security update(s)? Just "not installing security updates" cannot be the final solution to this problem.
