   Looking at the InDesign release notes, I now realize that this is an intended feature of InDesign 2025 20.3.
   But I do believe that your intention is misplaced, no one wants keyboard focus to MOVE to a button that they have clicked with their mouse.

   For the time being, I have reverted to InDesign 2025 (20.2.0), because this is completely unacceptable UI behavior.
