I need a 5 page spread to work on a storyboard, setting rows of frames.
This can be achieved manually but you have to rearrange all spreads mannually when you need to add one page. InDesign only does it properly if you have a 2 facing pages spread.I ultimately solved it with scripts but even then it's difficult because the shuffling situation is confusing for anything that's not 2 facing pages spreads.
I came to request the same feature and I agree with David B that this should not be set as complete. Hiding a spread from export is not the same as hiding a page from preview.
