    Having the same issue after updating to v18.1 and can confirm "Always Save Preview Images with Documents"

    I am having the same issue after updating to v18.1. Getting a generic message saying to turn on "Always Save Preview Images with Documents", my default is 2 pages but I've turned it off/on, and also reset to 1 page and 5 pages but no file previews are being written.
