    I have the same problem. Some work on this would be appreciated. It is completely unreasonable for us to tell our users that they have to continue using the old file type of .xls instead of creating new upgraded .xlsx files.

    I am using the WordsFlow plugin to import .xlsx files and I have the same problem.
