Multi-page PDF use in InDesign
When placing a multi-page PDF into an InDesign document - it would save so much time if it were possible to then scroll through the pages in that PDF and select the desired page from within InDesign.
3 votesThis feature already exists. As mentioned by David and Bastia, you can turn on the “Show Import Options” from the Place dialog. Following which a dialog which can help you chose the page that you want and how many of the pages you want to place in InDesign.

Allow to disable Zoom to slection in InDesign
This is annoying and I'd like to be able to turn it off as in Illustrator, but there is no preference that I can find.
2 votesSorry to see you facing problems with this new method of zooming in and out.
To turn this off you can go to the Preferences > GPU Performance and turn Off the option “Animated Zoom”. This should revert the zoom behaviour.
Hope this helps.

Footnotes
If you have a text with two or more columns the footnotes appear in the same column. That's great but it would be much nicer if you could have the footnotes under the colums ans as wide as both/all columns together. At the moment the efford to get this is very high and I have to use additional text boxes and I loose the connection between number in the text and footnote.

Lock items
Not sure why Adobe now locks items but still can be selected; it used to be great to lock an item and remain locked until unlock. This is extremely annoying to lock items but remain able to select them while selecting other items. If it isn't broken; DON'T FIX IT!
1 voteThis is actually governed by a preference. You can go to:
“Preferences > General > Object Editing > Prevent Selection of Locked Objects”and enable the setting so that you no longer are able to select Locked Objects.
Hope it helps !!!
