I am running InDesign CC 2019 v. 14.0, and on one occasion, my photoshop document that is placed in Indesign does not look accurate. The only workaround I found was to place the file, use import options, and turn one of my photoshop layers off. It was very strange. I tried exporting jpegs and tiffs from my PS doc, and though the preview image looked accurate when placed in InDesign, it did not look correct (background gradient color was changed to a flat color). When I exported a pdf, the same result occurred.
