This is a macOS10.13 issue, specific for some Intel GPU cards. Apple has fixed(partially) this issue inside macOS10.13.4 released build.
Following are the workaround for resolving this issue.
1) Update your mac machine to latest macOS10.13.4. Here, Apple has fixed this issue to some extent. You will face very less number of rendering issues.
2) Disable GPU preview and set display performance as typical.
Once you have updated to macOS10.13.4 .You might still face some rendering issues. Since, Apple has not fixed this issue completely.
Please switch off GPU rendering for these cases and report a separate post for tracking.
still not fixed...still not fixed...still not fixed....
All my works in progress look precisely like those shown in this post if not significantly worse
Any chance anything is actually being done to resolve this problem? or is there a bunch of people working on other stuff at adobe and making their products function the way they are supposed to for everyone is not on their agenda?
Commenting again in hopes it helps raise a red flag for you guys to actually notice the problem and work on it. I have no idea how this is still an issue, a friend of mine had some similar problem with a different program but it was fixed within a month. Really tired of knowing that I am paying for two applications (Illustrator and Indesign) that can not function properly...seriously considering leaving the adobe CC ecosystem
Also have this problem and it is SUPER ANNOYING in my line of work. Please dedicate time to this issue because it makes effectively creating the work I intend to practically impossible when I can not see the text that I use on them. I know this page might only have roughly 130 (at time of posting this) votes, but its very aggravating and I am sure that even more people are annoyed by this problem than the amount who vocalized their opinions on this page. I love you Adobe, but it would be great if this were to be fixed really soon...Anonymous supported this idea ·
