This is a macOS10.13 issue, specific for some Intel GPU cards. Apple has fixed(partially) this issue inside macOS10.13.4 released build.
Following are the workaround for resolving this issue.
1) Update your mac machine to latest macOS10.13.4. Here, Apple has fixed this issue to some extent. You will face very less number of rendering issues.
2) Disable GPU preview and set display performance as typical.Once you have updated to macOS10.13.4 .You might still face some rendering issues. Since, Apple has not fixed this issue completely.
Please switch off GPU rendering for these cases and report a separate post for tracking. An error occurred while saving the comment Max supported this idea ·
I can't express enough urgency on this issue!
Without sounding like a typical w*nker designer – It's impossible to work on anything when you can't preview what your work looks like. I've been using InDesign ever since I was a kid and have never had a problem.
Without sounding further w*nker-ish. I use InDesign for high profile clients and there's simply too much at stake for this to be an issue. Love Adobe and you always do a great job but need to get this sorted ASAP.
I've tried changing the Display Performance settings and turning off GPU Performance but it's simply not performing. My hunch is that this is a GPU / Retina issue as I've updated on my 2010 MacbookPro and it's running fine.
