2. Fit spread in window view only works 10% of the time. Please fix issue. I just updated InDesign to 17.4 and no fix.

   Me too, this is a huge PITA. Using version 20.3.1, Mac Studio M1. This has been an annoyance for a long time, I (want to) use this all day every day. Neither the View Menu item nor the keyboard shortcut work reliably.
