I use InDesign for official government rulemaking documents and executive orders. It is absolutely necessary to have this feature since numbers and text are underlined to denote changes from previous versions. I have to change the numbering to text every single time and that then messes up the accessibility of the document for users, which is legally necessary in my line of work.
Same problem here. I work in an Industry where this feature is important but not supported by InDesign. It is frustrating to add it all into a Character Style but it just doens't show.
