As displayed in the uploaded example by Teo all nonbreaking hyphens disappear when placed into InDesign (V18.2.1.) from DOCX. It is a critical error that can, if not noticed, change the meaning of the sentence (e.g. "use 1-2 mg of product" vs "use 12 mg of product").
DOCX is the standard word format and as such present the majority of the imported text documents. A bug that can have such a major contextual effect on the final result should be fixed asap.
