    Surely I'm doing something wrong... right? Adobe didn't build this **** into industry standard software... did they?
    How does an anchored object even have the opportunity to go OFF the page (bleed should be a checkbox when needed)?
    Why doesn't it respond to text wrap?
    Why isn't text wrap a default option when inserting an anchored object?
    Why don't object styles actually WORK... or at least work mostly...
    Why isn't it automatic to link a figure caption to the figure?? shouldn't that be a check box somewhere? or even, heaven forbid, a field in the anchored object options??

    I'm very willing to accept that i'm doing something wrong, despite years of this, and spending way too much time googling a solution... if anyone's got advice.
