    I was able to fix this by deleting the InDesign preferences in ~/Library (Mac). On windows I imagine there is a similar folder somewhere and you would have to delete it. (I actually just changed the folder name slightly so InDesign wouldn't recognize it. It will reset your preferences and any pre-made page sizes you have, but this is how I fixed it.

    Has no one figured out why this is happening? It's pretty annoying and more importantly, interrupting work flow. InD 17.2.1
