    Yes, we need proper Animated "Scrubby" Zoom back. To those below that keep saying, "Here's how to do it…", know that you are using a Mac, where it works. There are not those same settings/options on Windows at the moment. If I remember correctly, we used to be able to do this one Win, but not anymore. Lame. Can't be too much more demanding of a system to animate zoom for InDesign as it is in Photoshop and Illustrator, and it's possible there.
