    After working with the escalation team on this issue, i have figured out that this is an issue with the document size only. I work with large documents, ie 40"x40" - 120"x 120" size pages, because I print large. In CS6 this was a non issue. now, the track pad treats these pages like they are miles long. If I shrink all the elements to fit onto a 16" document, the track pad works fine so the issue is not the number or size of the files that are linked. I do not want to edit all my files to smaller size. fix this please.

    a second call to Adobe help and the stated issue is that the complexity of my file size is causing the trackpad issues. I can not believe that upgrading from CS6 to the inDesign 2020 I have lost so much performance. Is any one else running into this issue? Do I have to use a mouse in order to function at speed?
