    I also experienced high CPU usage when launching InDesign versions released after 2022—interestingly, other Adobe products didn't place such a heavy load on the processor.
    Ultimately, enabling Intel VT-d and Intel Hyper-Threading Technology in the UEFI cut the CPU load in half.
