I am putting my copy editor's changes into an InDesign document. Because it will only show spreads, I have to do an inordinate amount of scrolling, resizing, & shifting to get the text reasonably large and then go from page to page. It would be much simpler if there was a menu item under 'View' to choose between 'spread view' and 'page view'.
I have worked with a number of other grqphics programs, and while they all have their drawbacks, InDesign seems to make things complicated and hard when it should be easy. I can think of dozens of improvements.
If Adobe is serious about improving work flow and productivity, contact me and I will tell you how i'd do it, just like above.
