Until this is fixed, FYI, you can remap your page up and page down buttons on your keyboard (or if you don't have those, some other shortcut or buttons you want to use). You can have them jump precisely to "Next Spread" or "Previous Spread". You can change this in keyboard shortcuts in preferences. Next Spread & Previous Spread are also found in the Layout drop menu (on a Mac at least), and they may come pre-programmed with some other keyboard shortcut (don't remember).
