    It seems that there is a bug with the app "Magnet". Here the solution (seems to work for me): https://www.reddit.com/r/indesign/comments/1b7zo7c/indesign_object_selection_lag_fix/?rdt=39281

    I have the same problem. It started not a long time ago with an update of InDesgin.I I also use a M1 Max Mac (MBP, newest MacOS).
    A very annoying bug.
