It would be great to design book covers on the same file as the rest of the book.
This would be useful when exporting a PDF of the full book and then needing to export separate files for print. Currently I need to create a new file only for the covers + spine and when I change something on the main file I need to do it again on the cover file.
I imagine it working like this:
1 - create a book and cover design
2 - on the pages panel there would be a section for cover pages (like the section for masters)
3 - when clicking the pages in this section we would get 2 spreads (A - back cover + spine + front cover AND B - interior front cover + interior spine + interior back cover)
3a - there could also be an option to add flaps to this spreads
4 - these 2 spreads could have different margin and bleed settings from the rest of the document (for hardcover books the bleed on the cover is different from the rest of the pages)
I'm not sure if I'm communicating clearly what I have on my mind, but I don't mind clarifying further if needed.
