    It makes no sense to me that this is not already an option! When I'm lining up 2 boxes next to one another, I don't want the stroke in the middle to end up a double-width, but at the moment that's exactly what happens!
    The boxes snap to the edge of the stroke rather than to the path. The workaround (which adds time to the workflow) is to set all the stroke alignments to inside, position all the boxes where you want them, then switch all the stroke alignments to centre again.
