InDesign (Beta) - Apple Silicon Support
InDesign (Beta) for Apple Silicon.
InDesign (beta) now runs natively on Apple computers using the Apple Silicon M1 chip.
We are delighted to invite you to try out the latest beta on your Apple Silicon machine and share your feedback with us.
Installation:
Beta version can be installed directly from Creative Cloud (CCD) app, from Beta Apps section. Currently, the beta version is available only on Apple computers using Apple Silicon hardware.
Note:
If you are using an Apple computer running on Apple Silicon and do not see the beta update in Beta Apps section in CCD app, go to Help>Check for Updates. If you are still not able to see the update, try logging out and logging back into Creative Cloud Desktop app.

Indesign M1 Beta expired
The beta suddenly stopped working and won't allow med to access InDesign on the M1 machine, no update on the Creative cloud installer beta section, and removing and reinstalling the app doesn't solve it.
Will there come a new beta update soon?
11 votesFix for this was available in the previous release of InDesign – InDesign 2021. Please update to the latest update of InDesign 2021 or install the latest version of InDesign 2022 to get the fix.
