Hello All,
Kindly provide more information about this ask. How do you plan to use the Action Panel in InDesign? Do you want it to work exactly like that in Photoshop? What are the most important actions/operations that you want to record?
Thanks
Abhinav Agarwal
Product Manger – InDesignAn error occurred while saving the comment Pierre Ruiz commentedHello, I'd like to use an action panel like in Photoshop, to create scripts on the fly. I have no programming skills like many graphic designers and I would never be able to script in jsx, that's why an alternative is really expected.
If in addition the saved actions could be saved as .jsx as with script listener in Photoshop it would be greatPierre Ruiz supported this idea · -

step 1
I open the pdf in Acrobat, I export it to Word file.
step 2 I created an InDesign file and
step 3 I import the word file.
step 4 I can manipulate text using paragraph styles, crop images etc.Direct convert PDF file to InDesign file from a Acrobat or direct open a pdf file in InDesign would really save time and surely quality

Please do add https support! Or remove http:// completly. Without it the feature is pretty much unusable.
