Spell check does not work
When I open the dialog, it already says "Spell Check Complete" at the top. I changed what to search, to get it to say "Ready to Check Spelling" then clicked "Start", but nothing happens—just goes back to saying "Spell Check Complete".
InDesign Beta (16.3) running on M1 MacBook Pro.

InDesign very slow after update to 16.0 (x64), especially data merge
Opening the app takes well over half a minute, used to be within 5 sec. Closing with save can take over a minute for a single master page with three variable placeholders. The app feels sluggish to use and there is a visible delay after performing any action, ranging between a fraction of a second and a few seconds.
This last one has always been the case, but after update it is even worse: exporting a PDF using data merge renders the machine unusable. Mouse cursor moves with visible skips and lengthy delay between those skips, regardless of complexity of…

NEW DOCUMENT DOES NOT APPEAR AFTER LEAVING DOCUMENT SETUP
WHEN CREATING A NEW DOCUMENT VIA THE UPDATED DOCUMENT SETUP DIALOG, NO DOCUMENT APPEARS AFTER CONFIRMING CHOICES. PRESSING COMMAND-N TO CREATE A SECOND DOCUMENT MAKES THE FIRST DOCUMENT WINDOW APPEAR UNDER THE NEWLY OPENED DOCUMENT SETUP DIALOG.

shift to constrain and option-drag to copy only working intermittently now
- InDesign 16.1
- In a document, select an object. Then hold shift and scale the object. Or hold option and drag to copy the object.
- When holding shift, I expect constrained proportions. When holding Option, I expect a copy.
- Both key modifiers work perfectly in Illustrator, so it's not my keyboard nor my Mac. What I get when holding shift is the same as not holding shift - unconstrained proportions. What I get when holding option is the same as with not holding option - the object is just moved, not copied.

Tint slider disappears/doesn't work in 16.1
The tint slider in the swatches window in the newest update for the Mac version of InDesign (16.1) on Big Sur appears for a fraction of a second and then disappears. You can type in the tint % box, but the slider is inoperable.

InDesign import from Microsoft Word does not pick up all formatting
InDesign 16.0.1, macOS 11.1, MacBook Pro M1

Duplicating Page with Alt + Drag Not Working Anymore
I cant duplicate pages anymore using alt + dragging.
Alt dragging the page to the side still works (so that the newly duplicated page appears at the end).
But when I try to duplicate it to a specific location it just moves the page and does not duplicate it.This is really annoying....

Activating Font
My Indesign will randomly start trying to activate source sans pro fonts and will not ever finish activating. I can't cancel it, I can't go online to adobe fonts and decative and then active because it says there is a conflict. Because it's syncing it won't export any of my files until it's done ... and it's never done. The only way I get it to work is to force quit Indesign and it will work until it randomly starts trying to activate it again and the cycle repeats.

CC Libraries panel gets stuck a lot!
When I reboot Indesign it comes back to life but after a short time gets stuck again. Sometimes it just stops responding and sometimes the panel is also enlarged and cropped like the screenshot attached.

Opening new document and no access to most menu items
v. 16.1
- open existing document
- most menu options greyed out, not available even by shortcuts
- i should be able to open a document and print or copy something or paste into... no functions are available!
- at some point, the functions come back, but i'm not sure when or how.

Linked PDF Drawings in Indesign Document not showing in Exported Document
Linked PDF causing exported PDF File to not show embedded information, with pop-up showing "An error exists on this page. Acrobat may not display the page correctly. Please contact the person who created the PDF document to correct the problem

ID 16.2: duplicating a spread displaces all unlocked objects vertically!!

The number on the Image Place Thumbnail is not correct
It should reflect the number of images 'in' the cursor. But its 1 too high.
When 2 images are loaded, it shows 3.

Verifying "Adobe InDesign 2021"
Since updating to 2021 versions of Creative Cloud applications, there's a persistent 'Verifying "Adobe _____ 2021" message that pops up frequently.
Once you see these, you can't get rid of them. A restart is required.
The version is the latest version (16.0.2)
Steps to reproduce: Update and then open InDesign
Expected result: InDesign opens normally, verifies and the verification message disappears
Actual result: The verification message never goes away. The cross icon doesn't work.

Save Windows on Mac OS
NOTE: This is a problem not just on InDesign, but also on Illustrator and Photoshop as well.
Ever since the last upgrade for macOS Big Sur (ver 11.1), save, package and export windows have a serious issue. They don't show the pathways of the files even when you have it set to do so. Instead all you see is the options for what to include or any other information at the bottom of the window (see the attached screen shot).

world-ready inline
In world-ready paragraph mode, the width of inline graphics is not respected. the text is out over top of the graphic. This is with the Khmer language. Indesign version 16.1

Find command highlights text in background
In long INDD documents with text flowing from one page frame to another, the text often does not refresh properly when the page is turned. Using the Find command then often highlights text that is in the text story but is not visible on screen when highlighted by the Find command. The attached JPEG shows an example of the problem. The JPEG is a screenshot of an INDD page showing a Find for "Brown" but with random text highlighted at line 15. Indesign/LTS version (15.1.3) don't update font menu accordingly system registry (HKLM\Software\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\Fonts)

My enviroment: InDesign LTS version 15.1.3 (mandatory) - InCopy LTS version 15.1.3 (mandatory) - Extensis UTC 7.0.10 (mandatory) - clients OS Windows 10/MacOS Mojave- Font family OTF/TTF.Fonts get activated, then again so that theindesign/incopy document refreshes and detects the fonts but unfortunately this could result in significantly longer loading times for large files and other unexpected performance issues.
The fonts are active for the whole system (reg query "hklm\software\microsoft\windows nt\currentversion\fonts)

Wrong swatch color for color using hsb values
I'm using InDesign version 16.1 on Mac OS X 11.3
When setting a color using HSB values, the color which is created is wrong.
In the screen shot I added you can see two swatches, both have the same related values.
One is set via HSB the other by RGB.
