adobe fonts not syncing properly with typekit
Having issue with fonts syncing with cloud version of fonts. I’ve downloaded the Oswald font but only 2 fonts show up as cloud version and the other version all show up as TrueType fonts and I don’t even have the font installed?

Hello,
For several months now, when I place a .docx document in inDesign, it can happen that a character is misinterpreted by inDesign.
It's as if it's invisible for the layout, but it actually cuts the word in half for spelling correction, for example.
When I copy it to search for it with inDesign with or without GREP, it does paste something (a lowercase L or an uppercase i preceded by a ^ in normal or ~ in GREP) but it doesn't find it.

Adobe Fonts: Licensed with Creative Cloud but marked as "not allowed, protected" in Preflight, InDesign
Please help me: I'm using two fonts for a book soon to be published. I have activated the fonts in Creative Cloud. I work in InDesign. Now a Preflight check tells me that my fonts are "Not Allowed: Protected" (that's the only way to translate that message from Swedish). How do I solve this??? (The fonts I'm using are Minion Pro and Myriad Pro). I thought my InDesign recognised licenses from Creative Cloud. Have I misunderstood this completely? Desperate, please give me clue.. Text frame indented
When I move a text frame to the top left corner of a page, the first line of the text is automatically indented. How can I solve this problem? Thanks

Cannot use bold version of Adobe Caslon Pro in version 16.0.1
In the 2021 version of InDesign, the bold version of Adobe Caslon Pro does not work. It leaves a blank space, and if you click on the opentype box, it says "opentype properties are not applicable." The font itself is not the problem...I cannot reinstall the fonts because creative cloud tells me they are already there. Caslon and all its versions are also correctly installed in my windows fonts folder. I also cannot export to a PDF when I have the bold version of Caslon on a page. I CAN see, print, and use the bold font in older versions…

text frame anchored causes ID to hang
I have a text frame (with text wrap, and also an inline image) anchored to a line of text in the main story.
When I adjust this frame while it is still anchored, it causes ID 16.0.1 to hang. This is the same behaviour as in versions before. No crash report because of ID 'just hanging'. The fix is force quitting.
macOS 11.0.1. This was also happening with earlier versions of macOS.
The remedy is: 'Free' anchored object, make adjustments, and re-anchore the frame.Added info:

Ongoing Overset Text Error
No matter where I paste the over-set text in whatever sized text box, that text box will then carry the exact same over-set text error. I click once to paste the text on a page so that it will automatically adjust for space, but still it carries over the same error.

So what about the rest of us who have older Macs and CAN'T update?
I'm having terrible problems with my latest and only possible update to InDesign v.15.1.2. You can't move the text but only the text box! Are you kidding?

The index does not sort alphabetically

Cross references rendered to big/wrong line break
Text with cross references isn't rendered correctly. The line break is triggered far to early (see IDML and PNG) image. This affects probably all InDesign Version but was reproduced with CC 2020 and CC 2021
The line break works with the Adobe World-Ready Composers but not with the Classic Composers.

find/change formatted text error
using cc2021
when trying find/change text with sencences with paragraph style (bold), some characters become regular.

copy table content ID crash ID: 15.1.2.64
I copy content with text and pictures from a table to the other tabel with same conditions, ID will crashes down, every time
I can copy the single content container!
otherwise other actions in tables are going to crash the application

Text Frame Issues
Can't find this so hopefully this is new, but every time I nudge a text box with my arrow keys it ends up somehow shrinking the box or something because I get an arrow saying there's text outside the frame. It's fine... I nudge it once with the arrow key and I get the little red error box in the corner.

autocorrect
Autocorrect and spellcheck do not work on my version of Indesign CC 2020.
I have all options turned on, and it doesn't work at all.
Please assist as is hugely frustrating!!!

InDesign spellcheck no longer recognizes everyday words
The new version of InDesign I am using (15.1.3) does not recognize everyday words such as ‘year’ (see attachment)! It makes the spellchecker virtually useless. Am I doing something wrong, or is there something I can do to fix this please?
