Default Relink Folder not honored
- InDesign 18.2.1 x 64 on a Windows 10 Pro machine
- a. In my preferences, I have set the Default Relink Folder to Original Link Folder. 2b. I have a document that includes a linked image. I move the linked image out of the folder where the link is pointing, and add a replacement image to that folder. Use the links panel to relink the missing image.
- I expect that when I click on the relink icon that I will be directed to the folder where the image used to be stored. Then I can easily link to the replacement image that I have placed in my folder.
- Instead, when I click the relink icon, I am directed to a folder that includes images that I used while working on a different InDesign document earlier in the day. Then I have to manually find the location where the replacement image is stored.
