  1. For some reason my design in indesign is not fully visible when i am working on it, even when i select fast display or high quality display

    it is so annoying to be working on my design and not to be able to see all of my work on my screen as so much of it is blank, and is only visible when i export it as a jpeg. THis is so unprofessional and inconsistent when trying to design that i can clearly see all of my work as i edit and improve it.   2. Find Missing Pathfinder

    Please restore now Missing Pathfinder in CC 2018

  3. drop shadow effect bug - in NEW 2018 Indesign

    The Blend Mode in DROP SHADOW is FROZEN on MULTIPLY.. I cannot choose any other blend option... i.e. screen, darken, lighten..and it defaults to MULTIPLY...

    I tried drop shadow filter on multiple elements and documents.. STILL FROZEN... BIG BUG..

    I'll go back to using the older version until you get your issues fixed.

    Hi,
    Can you please uninstall InDesign and then reinstall it with the settings in Creative Cloud same as mine.. I have shown these settings in settings.png attached.

    Let us know what happens then

  5. Indesign

    I have updated from CC 2017 to CC 2018 and opened an existing 740 page book. This is an indesign book file .INDB with 25 chapters and numerous index entries.
     
    When I view the index panel in CC 2017 all the entries are there. Screenshot index-cc2017
     
    When I view the same files in CC 2018 the index panel is completely empty and there is no index at all. Screenshot index-panel2018
     
    AND YES
    I rebuilt the preferences and the exact same thing happens. These screenshots were done after the pref rebuild when I noticed the problem.

  6. CC2018 Swatch panel bug

    The InDesign CC 2018 swatch panel displays different sets of swatches when set to different view options. “Small name” seems the most complete. Swatches are missing with the other settings especially after opening a document from a previous version of InDesign.

  7. color theme menu is off the screen and I can't resize it or see bottom of menu

    when i open the color them window, the bottom of the menu pops up off screen. I can't see the bottom of the color theme menu and I'm unable to resize it.

  8. underline and paragraph rules don't work

    In version 13.0 can't modify the value of the line thickness, and is always the same stroke size: 1pt

    Hi,
    Can you please add a small video (on WeTransfer/Youtube/Dropbox) and post a link here so that it can be looked into?
    We have tried to reproduce it but unable to do it.

  9. indesign export

    I export a pdf and then decide I want to make a tweak. So I tweak the indesign file, re-export my pdf, and then the pdf doesn't update the preview! I have to re-export TWICE in order for the pdf to be updated. Anybody else having this problem?

    Do you want this limit to be increased for some reason?
    Currently this limit is defined to be a value between 0p3 and 50p0

  11. search

    I use CC 2017, but of course have seen this issue in other versions, Mac, and PC. When typing in a search term, like search term, the letters I type in show up backward, if at all, so mret chraes... which of course makes searching impossible. I can close the program, close the dialog box, and it still keeps coming up. It's so frustrating when you have 1000s of pages and need to find multiple words in between to keep opening/closing/shutting down

  12. Rendering of Bitmaps with High Sierra not as smooth as they should be.

    Since upgrading to High Sierra, I am finding in High Quality Display, bitmaps are not rendering smoothly on screen or in print.

    Exporting to PDFs gets over this, but not great when composing, and needing to see images as they will be.
