  1. Can't save a PDF (low res)

    I am trying to save a PDF (low res) and it stops and spins at 28% complete. It won't save.

  2. Picture box, dragging/moving is erratic and tricky

    There is no ghosting or even greeking of the images during a move, scale, and the box often sticks and can't be dropped.

  3. Crashed dialog windows

    Steps to reproduce: First time launch, opened file and didnt dismiss tour window, then opened second file with missing font
     
    Result: both the tour window and the missing font window became stuck open with no way to dismiss either

    Expected: To be able to clear one, then the other

        OS: macOS v11.2.3, RAM: 16.00 GB, CPUs (logical): 8

  4. Selection Tool cursor disappear issue

    Reposting this issue from Beta Version as it has not been resolved
    I am using Indesign Prelease 16.3
    Cursor disappears after period of inactivity.
    Cursor will appear if hovering over an object, otherwise invisible.
    A restart will resolve this which is not ideal

  5. InDesign Beta Critical for Many M1 users.

    I can't stress enough how important this is for many M1 users.

    I have a $1.5 million grant proposal due in 6 weeks and depend critically on InDesign to draft the proposal. Things were going along great until a day or two ago when the beta expired.

    Why not renew it until the public Beta is released? Or at least update the beta.

    The non-M1 (Rosetta) version is very buggy and adds at least 10% extra effort to my workflow. Please help!

  6. swatch palette folder minimizing

    Each time I deselect then reselect the Swatch Palette all of the Groups folders are minimized, even if I recently expanded the folder. Please retain folder view status when the Swatch palette is minimized.

  7. No new Dialogue Boxes

    Indesign refused to open any panels that were not already docked to the side e.g. Effects, Pages. Fixed with a restart of Indesign.

    When viewing a document in 100%, it is not possible to move the page view to the left.

  9. Spell check does not work

    When I open the dialog, it already says "Spell Check Complete" at the top. I changed what to search, to get it to say "Ready to Check Spelling" then clicked "Start", but nothing happens—just goes back to saying "Spell Check Complete".

    InDesign Beta (16.3) running on M1 MacBook Pro.

  10. Color Destination (Dot Gain %) doesn't work on INDB export to PDF

    Dot Gain exports from InDesign Book Panel do not convert (PDF remains full-colour).

    Steps to reproduce:
    1. Export to PDF from Book panel
    2. Convert to Destination > Dot Gain 15%
     
    Result: Full-colour images
    Expected: B&W images

        Application: InDesign v16.3.0.5

  11. Scrolling redraw errors

    Scrolling quickly thru a document created for dummying a magazine, and the screen did not redraw parts of the document correctly. Happened twice before reporting. Image shows what I was doing at the time and what was open. (Edison Mail, Acrobat Pro DC, and InDesign Beta)

  12. Ralentissements constants - latence

    Application version = InDesign 16.1
    Ordinateur = Macbook Pro avec puce M1

    Steps to reproduce the issues
    Le bug est que à tout moment, pendant que je suis entrain d'écrire, en train d'intégrer une image.. sans crier gare, InDesign fige complètement et m'empêche de faire quoi que ce soit d'autre jusqu'à ce qu'il dégèle.
    Quelques fois, ça se produit peu, et à d'autres occasions, c'est sans arrêts, je veux dire aux 5 - 10 secondes. C'est insoutenable en contexte de production.

  13. Colour Theme Overlay tool - floating palette does not disappear once tool deselected

    The colour theme overlay tool does not disappear once a different tool from the tool palette has been chosen. In addition, the popup to select different perceptual palettes (Bright, Colourful etc) does not always appear or appears erratically.

  14. Edit -> Duplicate - keyboard shortcut broken

    It has been broken for years actually, you cannot use a keyboard shortcut to duplicate. It's in every version of InDesign for years.

    Easily reproducible - select an object and try to duplicate via keyboard shortcut (command - option - shift - D).
